Did you know, in our daily life there are almost five to ten people who make our day-to-day life easy and simple with their super skills? But, we are too disconnected and unconscious to even accept or appreciate them.
While I sit in my cabin and go through my daily schedule, I wonder if not for the selfless passion of my employees, my business would be in ruins otherwise.
Deep work makes every move you make purposeful. This reminds me of my ‘Search for the Divine Soul’ team, who through their perseverance brings candidates that are perfectly in sync with our ideas.
It is the employees who take the business forward but what do we as leaders do to make the journey fulfilling for them?
As leaders, we should be conscious of our actions and being, only then we can lead responsibly and empathetically. Whenever I meet my employees, I make it a habit to appreciate them and make them understand how important their role is in pushing the business forward.
Many a times, due to our ego and inferiority complex, we become blind to the powers we possess and the impact our actions have on others.
Accepting our mistakes and shortcomings is what will take us forward.
If I have five people working under me for eight hours then I am not just responsible to give them a salary but also make sure that they are happy in their space and are able to infuse their purpose with that of the organization.
Money might give them financial stability but appreciating them fuels their passion and motivates them to be better.
I believe human connections are the biggest asset any leader should possess, the rest will follow eventually.
